Pre-processors: Pre-processors were used in early versions of IDP to enhance the scanned documents' quality by techniques like binarization, noise reduction, and so on. Today's cloud OCRs and document AI solutions already come with this functionality built in.

Digitizer: This module digitizes the documents using one or more OCR and/or document AI technologies.

Classifier: A technique that uses a variety of strategies to classify a document.
